3RD FLOOR DRAGON
I was invited by Jeanne Petrolle, Interim Chair of the English and Creative Writing department at Columbia College Chicago, to create a fantasy illustration to accompany the newly renovated third floor. Jeanne and select people involved with the renovation process guided the ideation process, and we settled on a vibrant and lively field with mountains and many magical creatures. Certainly the largest illustration I have done to date!

TUTORING

The director of the academic tutoring center, Tanya Harasym, tasked me with creating a mural to welcome Columbia College Students. I was given full creative control, but was asked to create an image that was calming, welcoming, and colorful. The final illustration features a bright underwater lake scene with colorful koi fish. While there were some issues with printing, I am very happy with the overall effect, and for my first mural I feel it was a great success.
